<p>As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, financial performance, and business transformation initiatives.</p>
<p>Working closely with the Senior FP&A Manager you'll help deliver our budgeting process, maintain and enhance revenue models, and contribute to the development of Board-level balanced scorecard reporting. You'll also partner with our Change function to ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits, improved operational efficiency, and tangible commercial value across our Border to Coast operations.</p>

<p><strong>The role – what you’ll be doing</strong></p>
<p>As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager your role is hugely important and will include:</p>
<p><strong>Budgeting</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the delivery of budgeting and monthly performance reporting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Change & Benefits Realisation</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Change and Transformation teams to define, track, and validate financial and operational benefits of transformation initiatives</li>
<li>Build and maintain benefits tracking frameworks, ensuring clear ownership and accountability</li>
<li>Challenge assumptions and validate business cases with robust financial and commercial analysis</li>
<li>Support post-implementation reviews to confirm delivery vs. plan</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Commercial & Financial Analysis</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide actionable insights into Border to Coast cost performance drivers</li>
<li>Assess the impact of proposed changes on P&L, cash flow, and customer outcomes</li>
<li>Identify risks and opportunities to improve commercial performance</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Process Modelling & Efficiency Improvement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Map, analyse, and optimise key Border to Coast processes to drive efficiency</li>
<li>Identify process inefficiencies, duplication, and automation opportunities</li>
<li>Support implementation of improved processes, including performance tracking and KPIs</li>
<li>Embed a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Data & Insight Delivery</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop dashboards and reporting to track change performance, benefits, and operational metrics</li>
<li>Translate complex data into clear commercial insights for stakeholders</li>
<li>Work with data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility</li>
</ul>

<li>Proven ability to deliver benefits realisation or support transformation programmes</li>
<li>Effective IT skills required for the job role, including advanced Excel, PowerBI and data analysis capability</li>
<li>Ability to develop dashboards and improve reporting capability</li>
<li>Use of PowerBI</li>
