At the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), we provide security in retirement for our members and millions of people throughout the UK who belong to defined benefit (DB) pension schemes. Through the PPF and Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), we compensate members for their pensions after the employer funding their pension becomes insolvent. In total, we look after over 400,000 members across the PPF and FAS. With over £30 billion in assets under management, our investments support long-term economic growth across the UK.

Our award-winning team of around 450 professionals has earned the IPE UK Pension Fund of the Year title three times in seven years. We work closely with government and industry partners to improve outcomes for scheme members, employers, and the broader pension system—playing a vital role in strengthening retirement security nationwide.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering change across the PPF. This is a key role within our delivery function, helping to define business needs, analyse processes and data, and develop clear, practical solutions that support our strategic change portfolio.

This position will lead complex business analysis activity across cross-functional projects and programmes, working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers to understand priorities, challenge assumptions and translate business needs into structured requirements. The role will also support solution design, testing, process improvement and benefits-led delivery, ensuring that outcomes are clearly understood and aligned to business objectives.

The successful candidate will bring substantial hands-on experience operating at a senior Business Analyst level, with a track record in requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder engagement and producing high-quality written outputs for executive review. You’ll also be able to lead, support and mentor other colleagues to help achieve successful delivery outcomes. Given the nature of our work, experience within the pensions industry is expected.

The ideal candidate will be confident facilitating workshops, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity in a complex organisation. Finally, working within delivery frameworks such as Agile and/or PRINCE2 would be beneficial, alongside advanced Microsoft 365 capability and the use of tools such as Excel (and ideally Power BI).

Introduction to the role

We are now looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to join us and work alongside our Group Data Protection Officer. This is a hands-on operational role where you will make a real difference by keeping our records in shape, supporting residents who make data requests, and helping the wider organisation build good data protection habits. You won't be making high-level regulatory decisions; instead, you'll be the engine room that keeps day-to-day compliance running smoothly.

Role purpose

To provide reliable operational data protection support to the Group DPO, helping Chime Housing deliver consistent compliance across the Group, with a particular focus on building capability and embedding good practice across the organisation.

What’s the role?

Key Accountabilities:

Handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) from initial receipt through to preparing the response pack, ready for the Group DPO to review and sign off.
Maintain all data protection registers - including the Data Asset Register (ROPA), and processor and controller records by keeping them accurate and up to date.
Liaise with Data Champions across Chime Housing Group to prompt timely updates to the Data Asset Register and support their engagement with data governance.
Carry out data protection due diligence for standard supplier relationships: obtain assurances, review responses, and file them alongside contracts and agreements.
Log data protection incidents and near-misses accurately on the incident log and escalate to the Group DPO for assessment and decision.
Produce monthly KPI reports on data protection activity, drawing on registers and logs to provide clear management information.
Support scheduled reviews of data protection policies and help draft written procedures for routine compliance processes.
Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Group DPO as needed.

What are we looking for?

Essential:

Experience handling Data Subject Access Requests, or a clear and demonstrable understanding of the DSAR process under UK GDPR.
Working knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and the Data Use and Access Act (DUAA) 2025 framework.
Experience maintaining compliance records, registers, or logs; and an organised, methodical approach to doing so.
Good written communication skills: able to draft clear, accurate documentation and correspondence.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks against deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive personal information.

Desirable:

Experience in housing, local government, or another regulated sector.
A data protection qualification or certificate (e.g. BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection, CIPPE, or similar).
Familiarity with supplier due diligence or DPIA processes.
Experience producing management information or performance reports.

Role overview

Events is one of our highest-performing demand-generation channels, and this role sits at its centre. The Events Specialist is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering the full events programme for IRIS Education across both the UK State and Independent and International (I&I) school markets. This includes in-person conferences, trade shows, roundtables, and digital events such as webinars and virtual summits.

The role requires strong coordination with our Demand Generation Specialists across the UK State and Independent & International school markets to ensure events connect clearly with pipeline and campaign activity. The I&I market includes global event delivery, adding international scope to the workload.

This is a busy, end-to-end events role covering strategy, logistics, speaker and content management, and post-event analysis. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing several events simultaneously, often at different stages of planning, and will bring the commercial focus and organisational rigour to keep everything on track across two distinct market segments.

Key responsibilities

Event planning and logistics

Own the annual events calendar for IRIS Education, covering UK State and I&I markets.
Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue sourcing and contracting, supplier management, AV requirements, catering, travel, marketing collateral, banners, merchandise and on-site delivery.
Lead planning and execution for in-person events including trade shows, exhibitions, customer conferences, and roundtables.
Oversee virtual and hybrid event delivery, working closely with the Demand Generation Specialists to align to campaign activity.
Maintain event budgets, track spend, and report on cost per event and return on investment.
Build and manage event timelines and project plans, ensuring all stakeholders meet agreed deadlines.
Co-ordinate with external agencies on graphic design for banners, marketing collateral and sourcing, ordering and delivery of merchandise.

Global event coordination (I&I)

Plan and deliver international events for the Independent and International schools market, coordinating with the team and regional stakeholders.
Manage logistics for events across multiple time zones and geographies, adapting event formats to local audience requirements where necessary.
Build relationships with international venue partners, agencies, and event bodies relevant to the independent and international schools sector.

Speaker selection and content

Lead speaker identification, outreach, and coordination for all owned events, including customer, partner, and third-party speakers.
Work with the Content Editor and product marketing to develop session proposals, run-of-show documents, and speaker briefing packs.
Ensure event content is aligned to key messaging and audience priorities for each market.
Support the creation of event-specific marketing collateral, working with the wider team on assets such as landing pages, email campaigns, and promotional materials.

Digital events

Manage the end-to-end delivery of webinars, virtual roundtables, and online product sessions.
Work closely with Demand Generation Specialists to integrate digital events into broader campaign plans, ensuring strong registration pipelines and post-event follow-up.
Own the technical set-up and delivery of digital events, including platform management (e.g. Teams, ON24, or equivalent), attendee communications, and on-day facilitation.
Provide post-event data and analysis to support demand generation reporting and attribution.

Stakeholder and relationship management

Act as the primary point of contact for event sponsors, partners, and third-party organisers.
Brief internal stakeholders ahead of events and provide post-event debrief reports covering attendance, pipeline influence, and key learnings.
Collaborate with the Customer Marketing Executive to develop event strategies that support retention and customer engagement.

Skills and experience

Essential

Proven experience in an events management or marketing events role, ideally within B2B technology or SaaS.
Track record of managing events end-to-end, from planning through to post-event analysis.
Experience coordinating international or multi-region events.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and to tight deadlines.
Experience managing event budgets and demonstrating ROI.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Comfortable working with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Hubspot/Marketo and Salesforce experience is an advantage).
Familiarity with digital event platforms and virtual event delivery.

Desirable

Experience in the education technology sector or events targeting the state or independent schools market.
