We are now seeking a Handyperson to provide a professional and effective facilities and service, including the cleaning, decoration and maintenance of vacant rooms, maintenance of internal & external communal areas and carrying out minor repairs, reporting any repairs identified and liaising with GCH’s Homeless Accommodation Officers on any Customer anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
You will test the fire alarm and water systems weekly in all our Homeless schemes and record this appropriately and perform weekly Health and Safety checks reporting any identified issues to keep our areas safe for our customers and colleagues. You will effectively manage waste facilities at our sites and maintain the shared communal gardens and individual gardens at our dispersed properties to keep areas looking tidy and clean and a nice environment for our customers.
