Come and make a real difference as our new Compliance Coordinator
Everyone should have a warm, safe and affordable home. As our Compliance Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in heling our team members deliver this for thousands of people in the Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
You’ll support the compliance team to ensure all aspects of Landlord Health and Safety Compliance aligns with statutory and non-statutory regulations, guidance, approved codes of practice and organisational policies and procedures. You’ll support the team to deliver service and maintenance programmes with contractors and tenants to ensure our properties remain safe and legally complaint. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring records and information relating to these services and maintenance are accurate and up to date.
What you’ll bring to the team:
You’ll bring strong organisational and administrative skills, supporting efficient compliance processes and accurate record-keeping. You’ll communicate confidently with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to help deliver timely repairs and services. You’ll be proactive in identifying risks, supporting regulatory compliance, and finding practical solutions. Above all, you’ll deliver a customer-focused, inclusive, and reliable service that reflects the organisation’s values.
What we’re looking for:
· Experience in working in a customer-focused environment, managing financial information, processing payments.
· Strong experience working with Microsoft Office programmes
· A willingness to learn and develop their knowledge of the housing sector
· A good written and verbal communicator that can communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
· Knowledge and understanding of processes relating to repairs and servicing appointment booking with customers or similar experience
· The ability to manage and resolve difficult situations
· Confidence in challenging the “way we do things” and making suggestions to help deliver a more effective service
· Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications
Desirable:
· Relevant professional qualification (such as Level 2 Diploma in Asset and Building Management Compliance)
· A specialist asbestos, fire or other compliance related qualification would be advantageous
· Understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and working within a housing association would be an advantage
